Vic: Woman banks on numbers of dead father
MELBOURNE, April 30 AAP - A Clifton Hill woman using the same numbers as her dead World
War I veteran father won more than $200,000 in Tattslotto last Saturday night.
The woman had been playing the numbers of her father since his death 12 years ago.
"My father played those numbers for years and I decided to use them every Saturday
in memory of him," she said today.
"I would love to know why he picked these actual numbers, but unfortunately he never told me."
The woman plans to use some of her first division winnings to help make life more comfortable
for World War I veterans who are still alive.
The winning ticket shared the first division prize pool with three other entries from
Victoria, four from Queensland, three from Western Australia and one from New South Wales.
