Qld: Prime Minister should tell if threats made to Australia
Labor foreign affairs spokesman KEVIN RUDD says Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD should tellAustralians if he has any evidence that Iraq or any terrorist group backed by Iraq isabout to attack Australia.
Mr RUDD's comments come after the Prime Minister told Channel Nine that he was preparedto act if terrorists were planning an attack on Australia from a neighbouring country.
Mr RUDD says if the prime minister has evidence that Iraq is about to attack Australia,or if any terrorist organisation backed by Iraq is about to attack Australia, then heshould tell the public.
