NSW: Hickey's father unlikely to make tomorrow's funeral

New South Wales prison authorities say they won't release THOMAS HICKEY's father from
jail to attend the boy's funeral tomorrow.

Many people from Sydney's Aboriginal community in Redfern are expected to farewell
the teenager, whose death eight days ago was followed by a violent riot.

The Corrective Services department says the boy's father IAN WEST, won't be released
from jail to attend the Walgett service, for security reasons.

THOMAS's aunt, MARILYN CARGILL, 37, from Hurstville, will also be unable to attend
the funeral …
