NSW: Crowds gather in Sydney for dawn service
Crowds are beginning to gather at Sydney's Martin Place cenotaph to celebrate the Anzacday dawn service this morning.
Encouraged by mild weather, people of all ages have begun to form a crowd around thecenotaph in preparation for the service, due to begin at about 4.30am (AEST).
Last year's dawn service in Sydney attracted record crowds, with more than 10,000 turningout to pay their respects to Australia's war heroes.
