Qld: Three injured in rural NQ smash
BRISBANE, April 10 AAP - A man is in a critical condition in a Cairns hospital after
a four-wheel drive struck a pig and rolled several times.
Three men were inside the vehicle, which was towing a boat, when it hit a wild pig
on the Gulf Development Road, near Mt Surprise in far north Queensland, about 10pm (AEST)
yesterday, police said.
The impact caused the 4WD to roll several times causing significant injuries to all occupants.
All three men were airlifted to Cairns Base Hospital where one, a 34-year-old, is in
a critical conditions.
